I can’t watch this

If I wasn’t on holiday I’d probably have never watched the NBA All-Star game.

I’ve ranted before about it, but it’s just awful. I’ve only lasted half of the first period and I think I’m done. There’s not even a pretence of defence. I won’t give away the score – I suppose it’s possible someone reading this gives a fuck – but one team broke the 200 point barrier and they combined for 397 points. That’s over eight points per minute. There is simply no point (pun unintended) in a game if neither team really cares if they concede a load of baskets.

The whole thing is past its sell-by date. It’ll continue because it makes money. Meanwhile 777 think it’s a great idea to stage the BBL’s own version.

I won’t be watching the final 42 minutes. I’d rather watch the U-14 game on the left. At least one team tried to play defence.
